Mission Statement:
The Lenah Mill Marlins was organized to provide a fun and competitive swim program for the community; focused on the following:
- Promote Personal Growth for Leaders of Tomorrow | We recognize that children learn at their own speed. We consider all swimmers as equal and integral members of our team and community in Loudoun County, and work to foster a true team spirit. It's our goal to teach them proper swim techniques, build their character and foster confidence in their personal growth throughout the swim season.
- Foster a Positive Environment | The sport will be taught in a fun, safe environment, while focused on growing at the individuals own rate. We provide swim buddies to mentor younger children and encourage older swimmers to lead by example. Coaches are focused on knowing the name of each swimmer and ensuring they feel like part of the “Marlins family”.
- Encourage Healthy Competition | Success is ultimately measured by how much a swimmers individual potential is maximized. We strive to offer a positive environment where competition is secondary to personal growth.
